Our Story
Altair Shipping was built by people who went to sea before they ran ships from shore, bringing deck-level knowledge to everything the company does.
The company started in maritime services in the early 2000s, attending vessels and earning the trust of shipowners and charterers across the region. Over the next two decades that foundation grew — through cargo, supply, and a steady move toward ownership. In 2016, Altair began owning and operating its own tonnage.
